Paige Bueckers is, by all means, one of the best players in all of college basketball, and weāre not talking just about womenās hoops. Sheās already joined several UConn legends in the programās books.
Thatās despite missing an entire season with a knee injury. Nevertheless, as dominant as sheās been, she still hasnāt been able to end the programās nine-year title drought.
Thatās why, even though sheās firmly expected to be the first-overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, she can only think of one thing right now, and thatās finishing the job.

āI think weāre growing every single day. Like my other years here at college, the coaches do an amazing job preparing us for whatever is going to come our way,ā Bueckers said. āThey won 11 national titles so they know what it looks like.ā

āObviously, very excited,ā Bueckers said when asked about her mindset. āThis is what you prepare for your whole entire life, whole entire season. I donāt know. Iām just excited. March is great. Playing during this time is great.We just want to continue to keep getting better and keep looking forward to the future.ā
