Last season in the NCAAF saw the Oregon Ducks solid in several areas, finishing the regular season undefeated. The main goal moving forward is to improve on what was achieved, although the path won’t be easy. Dan Lanning knows he won’t be able to rely on one of his key players, as he has declared for the upcoming NFL Draft.

Although many were hopeful about seeing him back next season defending the Ducks’ colors, Kobe Savage ultimately made the decision to declare for the upcoming draft, with the main goal of taking the next step in his career. The safety was one of the team’s top defensive players last season.

The announcement was made by the player himself, who, through his official X (formerly Twitter) account @KobeSavage, shared a heartfelt and lengthy message of gratitude for everyone who has supported him throughout his time in College Football.
