Aaron Judge once again proves why he’s one of the best at the plate, crushing a massive grand slam to give the New York Yankees a crucial lead in Game 2 of the series against the Brewers. It’s been a dominant performance by the Bombers.

With Judge at the plate just before his home run, the Yankees were already leading 8-3. Confidently swinging for the fences, Judge crushed the ball, driving in four additional runs to further bury the Brewers—setting the tone well before the game reached its halfway mark.

Before that monumental grand slam, the Yankees were putting on an offensive showcase rarely seen in MLB. Five different players had solo home runs, including Judge, who hit his first homer of the season. Cody Bellinger and Anthony Volpe also went deep, with Volpe showing he’s hitting his stride.

It’s worth noting that in that game, Nestor Cortes was the Brewers‘ starting pitcher. In the bottom of the first inning, he fell victim to Goldschmidt, who hit the first home run of the game and drove in the Bombers’ first run at home during the second game of the series.

The pitch, clocked at 85 MPH, was an easy one for him—a near-center strike. The ball traveled 425 feet with an exit velocity of 107.5 MPH.
