Anthony Edwards is officially the 2020 NBA draft No. 1 overall pick. The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled the trigger on this player and now have created a Big 3 with Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell.

The University of Georgia product is ready to take the NBA by storm, even with all the things he needs to polish about his game before becoming part of the elite of the association. Edwards has the tools to be great but the job is just starting.

He saw his life changed after going first in the NBA draft. Even after the suspension of the league and the global pandemic happening in the world right now, the players drafted in the first three picks of the draft are going to make big money.

How much money will Anthony Edwards make with his rookie deal?

Edwards is a great talent and his selection and subsequent salary are the biggest proof of that. According to Bobby Marks of ESPN, Edwards will earn over $40 million during his first four years of NBA career.

Edwards must be having a great time right now. Even after making some questionable comments about the coronavirus pandemic and the fact that he’s not into basketball, Edwards is still happy about how life is going for him right now.

He made the bank tonight and neither he nor his family will have to worry for money for the next four years.
