It’s not a secret that LeBron James and former President of the United States Donald Trump don’t get along. It’s been like that since Trump won the election and that’s not likely to change any time soon.

For obvious reasons, the former President hadn’t addressed that situation over the past couple of months. But now, in the wake of James’ recent activity on social media, the Republican mogul once again stepped in.

On a now-deleted tweet, James posted a picture of the policeman accused of killing Ma’Khia Bryant, captioned ‘You’re Next #Accountability”. Needless to say, that rubbed Trump the wrong way, so he took swipe at James once again.

LeBron James Claims He’s Desperate For Accountability

“I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its [sic] being used to create more hate. This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY,” James tweeted.

Donald Trump Takes A Shot At LeBron

Trump recently released a statement calling out LeBron James for his deleted tweet, claiming that he’s a racist and that his divisive rants are the reason why the NBA ratings have been so low this season:

LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the League. His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our Country together!Trump said on the statement, as quoted by The Hill.

It seems like this back-and-forth will go on for ages as neither party is willing to take the high road, so we can definitely expect the 4-time NBA Champion to fire back at Trump rather sooner than later.
