The story of the NBA offseason thus far has been James Harden's desire to start from scratch and move on from the Houston Rockets. The team has seemed reluctant to move him and continue to make additions in hopes of another playoff run, but it seems like their superstar is  no longer committed to their project.

As a matter of fact, the former MVP is nowhere to be found in the Rockets' facilities during the first practice of the training camp. However, the media has already found out about his recent whereabouts.

Apparently, Harden decided to skip practice with the Rockets despite being in town. How did everybody know that he was in town? Well, he was spotted hopping at the University of Houston and later at a 'gentleman's club' on Saturday night.

James Harden Misses Rockets' Practice, Hits The Club, Then Posts An Instagram Story

To make things even more ironic, the NBA had just posted a memorandum banning players from hitting those kinds of clubs during the season as they look to keep Covid-19 outbreaks at a minimum.

Harden is clearly aware of the rumors about his desire to leave, as he didn't even try to hide what he was doing and even posted an Instagram story with an emoji right in the middle of this little mayhem.

James Harden has clearly moved on and doesn't want to play for new coach Stephen Silas, although some believe that his desire to leave is more motivated over team owner Tilman Fertitta's support and donations to Donald Trump's campaign.

Whatever the case may be, this situation seems unsustainable. The Rockets have no obligation to trade him whatsoever but they just can't have their best player not showing up to practice and blatantly trying to force his way out of the team.
