Lakers' Kyle Kuzma takes a shot at the Clippers

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma addressed the media ahead of their WCF clash vs. the Denver Nuggets and took a light jab at the Los Angeles Clippers after their shocking elimination.

The Los Angeles Clippers became the biggest villain around the NBA this season. They talked trash, got in the players’ faces and minds, and ended up falling short – again – of the Western Conference Finals despite being clearly overpowered.

So, current and former players have had a feast with their massive choke vs. the Denver Nuggets. They were up 3-1 and Marcus Morris even told Paul Millsap to get ready to go back home in Game 5, yet they blew that lead and are now the team that’s home.

That’s why Los Angeles Lakers’ forward Kyle Kuzma took the high road with a slight jab at the Clippers – who said on the season opener that their time had come and that Stephen Curry and LeBron James were done.

Kyle Kuzma Said The Lakers Don’t Focus On Other Teams, Take A Shot At The Clippers

When asked about whether their plans had changed now that they have to face the Denver Nuggets instead of the Los Angeles Clippers as expected, Kuzma said that the Lakers were never focused on them and that maybe that’s why the Clippers are now home:

“No, not really, because we’re not focused on the Clippers and we never reallywere. It’s all about who’s in front of you. When you focus on other teams instead of taking care of your food, I mean, sh*t happens like that. So, for us, we’ve always focused on usand then focused on Portland, focused on Houston and controlled what we can control as a team. Now our focus is on Denver,” Kuzma said.

Patrick Beverley, Marcus Morris, and Paul George spent a lot of time messing up with the rest of the league. They talked their talk but didn’t back it up on the court. Now, they’ll be the laughing stock of the league until further notice.
