Whether you’re playing or not, you’re constantly putting the work in to be ready for the opportunity you get. Tonight, I just tried to go out there and be aggressive and have fun, honestly. I think above all else, we just wanted to show that we can play hard and play together and give ourselves a fighting chance,” added Milton.

Shake Milton has received a fair share of minutes but has yet to secure a prominent role with the Lakers. Despite the team’s recent struggles, JJ Redick has kept Milton’s court time limited. He did not play in their latest win over the Phoenix Suns. The NBA season is far from over, though. If Milton shows the progress Redick expects, his role could expand soon.
