It seems like blowing double-digit leads is becoming a trend in Los Angeles right now, as the Los Angeles Lakers just emulated the Los Angeles Clippers by letting a 19-point advantage slip right through their fingers.
Frank Vogel’s team was in control of the game vs. the Golden State Warriors for most of the game until Stephen Curry went off late in the second half to cap off a spectacular comeback for the Dubs.
To make things even worse for Lakers fans, LeBron James actually had a somewhat decent look to win the game at the buzzerbut bricked a three-pointer and his team fell 115-113 in one of the most exciting games of the season.
Needless to say, a polarizing player like LeBron James missing a game-winner will always be great news for his haters, who didn’t hesitate to call him out on social media after not getting the job done.

The Los Angeles Lakers are still the first seed in the Western Conference as of now, and you also have to give the resilient Golden State Warriors a lot of credit for that amazing comeback last night.

It’s not usual to see the Lakers blowing big leads even vs. great teams like the Warriors, so this shouldn’t worry them unless it becomes a trend. At the end of the day, it’s impossible to win every game in the NBA.
As for the Warriors, these kinds of performances will silence their doubters and demonstrate that they can compete at the highest level and vs. every rival, even if they don’t have Klay Thompson anymore.
Also, LeBron James is one of the most clutch players in NBA history – and that’s a fact backed up by stats, not an opinion – but I’m guessing fans won’t let him forget about this miss any time soon.
