LeBron James is one of the greatest players in the history of basketball. One of the main things that have made him so great is his durability, as he continues to lead his teams to championship contention even 17 years after entering the league.

Then again, nobody, not even LeBron James himself can fool father time. The King has turned back the clock this season and led the Los Angeles Lakers to the 1st seed in the Western Conference but still, those 35 years have taken a toll on him and his body.

James isn’t getting any younger and his receding hairline is the prime evidence of that. He’s also losing a lot of hair at the top of his head and, as you may imagine by now, the internet has had a lot to say about it, with dozens of memes and reactions going back-and-forth since the start of the season.

LeBron James Can Have A Laugh At His Expense

LeBron James isn’t the one who complains about a couple of jokes at his expense. On the contrary, the King even took it to his Instagram account to share a hilarious meme about his bald spot, comparing it to a Reese’s cup.

ā€œOne of the funniest ones I’ve seen. Hated when my Reese cup would do that but guess what? I still kept it and ate it soā€¦ā€ The King posted on an Instagram story ahead of Game 4 of the first round of the NBA playoffs vs. the Portland Trail Blazers.

Even in year 17 and despite his loss of hair, James is still one of the most dominant and impactful players in the world. He’s averaging 25.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and a league-leading 10.2 assists per game on 49.3% shooting and is one of the biggest reasons why the Lakers are one of the teams to beat out of the West. But C’mon, King, just shave it already!
