The Philadelphia 76ers are entering the 2020/21 NBA season trying to bring new things to the table after a horrendous 2019/20 season where they couldn’t find chemistry to actually compete in the Eastern Conference.
They are ready to start things fresh after that tumultuous campaign and they want to do so in a great way. The Sixers just unveiled the design of their new uniform and the results are just… Not good, according to their own fans.
They tried to pay homage to their classic teams, including Allen Iverson’s Sixers that made it to the Finals in 2001 and were defeated by the Shaq-and-Kobe-led Lakers in five games. What started as a great gesture ended up in a total mess for their supporters.
Sixers fans go off on the team’s new uniform designs
When you think about that memorable team, you think about the great kits they used to wear but the designers came up with something that nobody can understand and fans found a lot of ways to troll them for their bad taste.
Fortunately for the Sixers, most of the teams unveiled really bad designs this season, so they’re not alone on this undesired club. However, their fans are fuming to see they missed a big opportunity to remember the team that went all the way to the Finals led by AI.
They blew a big chance and fans only hope for them to not blow things up in the upcoming NBA season.
