We’re almost mid-way through the 2020 NFL regular season, which means that we’ve already seen more than enough to have a somewhat clear picture of which teams are going to make the playoffs or end their season early.
We’ve seen quite disappointing teams like the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings, while others like the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins have been a somewhat pleasant surprise and have exceeded the early expectations.
Then again, there’s still a lot that can happen throughout the second half of the regular season, especially after most teams get off their bye weeks. Here, we’ll let you know about all the games of Week 8, as well as how to watch them.
Games Of Week 8 Of The 2020 NFL Regular-Season
Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch:FOX, NFL Network, Amazon Prime,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
Teddy Bridgewater and Matt Ryan will face off for the second time this season, with the Falcons trying to avenge that 23-16 loss. Atlanta have only won 1 of their 7 games this season, and facing a fresh Christian McCaffrey coming off IR isn’t exactly what the doctor ordered.
Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch:CBS,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The New England Patriots have historically owned the Buffalo Bills but the tables are likely to turn on Week 8. Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level and even though the Patriots still feature an elite defense, Cam Newton hasn’t been able to move the chains lately.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch:CBS,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The Tennessee Titans are coming off their first loss of the season and will look to bounce back in a shootout with first-overall pick Joe Burrow, who’s looked pretty solid over his first seven career starts. Still, it’s unlikely that the Bengals will be able to keep up with the Titans’ high-octane offense.
Cleveland Browns vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch: FOX,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The Las Vegas Raiders’ defense was demolished in their last outing and they’ll face a somewhat beatable secondary now when they travel to face the Cleveland Browns. Baker Mayfield is coming off his best game of the season but will have to get by without Odell Beckham Jr for the rest of the year.
Detroit Lions vs. Indianapolis Colts
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch:CBS,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
Two teams with chances to make the playoffs but that haven’t played like playoff teams will meet when the Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts face off. None of them have been trustworthy on a week-to-week basis, and you never know which version of Philipp Rivers and Matt Stafford you’ll get.
Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch: FOX,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
It’s pretty safe to say that the Green Bay Packers bounced back in a big way after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Minnesota Vikings continue to struggle to get stops and facing the team that already humiliated them in the season opener may not be what they need to straighten the ship.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch:CBS,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs have been close to perfect to start the season, while the New York Jets have been historically terrible. There’s not much to read into this game, as the Chiefs are currently favored by 3 touchdowns in most sportsbooks.
Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch: FOX,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The Los Angeles Rams will embrace the challenge of winning a ring on the same season the Lakers and Dodgers did it but first, they’ll need to make the playoffs. The Miami Dolphins with Tua Tagovailoa under center will stand in their way for now, but they shouldn’t have many problems getting past them.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Date and time: 1/11 – 2:00 PM (ET)
How to watch:CBS,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The Baltimore Ravens are clearly a much-improved team from last season and want to prove that they’re for real this time. However, they’ll have to host the last remaining undefeated team and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ physical defense. This divisional matchup will likely be the most exciting and unpredictable game of the week.
Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Date and time: 1/11 – 5:05 PM (ET)
How to watch:CBS,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
Well, so much for that expected breakout year by Drew Lock and the Denver Broncos. Their defense has been pretty solid but their offense has been erratic, to say the least. Justin Herbert has proved that he’ll be special and a huge threat for a very long time, and he’ll get another chance to impress at Mile-High.
Chicago Bears vs. New Orleans Saints
Date and time: 1/11 – 5:25 PM (ET)
How to watch:FOX,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The Chicago Bears showed their true colors in a terrible Monday Night Football performance vs. the Rams and their 5-2 record will face another tough task when they host Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. Brees has been far from his usual self, but the Saints’ defense is good enough to get the win right here.
Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers
Date and time: 1/11 – 5:25 PM (ET)
How to watch: FOX,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
The Seattle Seahawks lost their first game of the season after piling up mistake after mistake late in the game vs. the Arizona Cardinals. Now, Russell Wilson will be due for another stellar performance if they’re to get past the San Francisco 49ers tough defense. The Legion of Boom days are over, as the Seahawks just can’t stop anybody.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys
Date and time: 1/11 – 9:20 PM (ET)
How to watch: NBC,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
When the Philadelphia Eagles are 7-point favorites, that tells you everything you need to know about the Dallas Cowboys this season. They’ll likely have rookie Ben DiNucci under center with Andy Dalton out with a concussion, so this is not going to be pretty. The league, however, won’t flex this Sunday Night Football game.
New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Date and time: 2/11 – 9:15 PM (ET)
How to watch: ESPN,NFL Game Pass, Westwood One, Sirius XM
Tom Brady will take the gridiron as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the New York Giants for Monday Night Football. We know Brady’s struggles vs. The Big Apple, but he’s not with the Patriots and Eli Manning isn’t under center anymore. The Giants have been terrible from start to finish and won’t have many chances to get a win at home here.
Bye week: Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Football Team.
