Former Cowboys offensive assistant Glenn Smith recently said that Jaydon Blue is “borderline lazy” and claimed the team is beginning to feel uncomfortable with his preparation habits. In response, the rookie didn’t hold back, issuing a sharp reply to defend himself and prove his critics wrong.

“All that did was add a little fuel to my fire,” Jaydon Blue said, via Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Of course, I know I’m not lazy. I know the work I put in. As you can see, I’m having a great camp so far. I’m just ready to continue building on that.”
