We’re running out of words to describe Carson Wentz’splay week after week. Somewhere down the line, his promising career took a massive detour and he’s been – by far – the worst starting quarterback in the NFL this season.
There have been a lot of questions regarding whether Wentz should continue to start for the Philadelphia Eagles or not, and he didn’t do anything to help his case during his team’s 23-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Wentz was all over the place – again – on Monday Night Football. He threw contested passes into tight coverage, was under heavy pressure, made poor decisions, and had one of the worst interceptions you’ll ever see.

With the game still at reach and the Seahawks up 20-9 in the middle of the fourth quarter, Wentz threw a terrible pick straight into Quandre Diggs, who was completely on his own in the endzone without even covering an Eagles player.

Wentz finished the night with 25 completions on 45 pass attempts. That was good for 215 yards, 2 scores (one in garbage time) and 1 interception. He was also sacked 6 times and rushed 5 times for 42 yards.
The Philadelphia Eagles have become the laughing stock of the worst division in football. They’ve somehow found incredible ways to lose winnable games and are unlikely to even make the playoffs in the NFC East, which is a true testament to their incompetence. As for Wentz, it seems like he oughta do a lot of soul searching to go back to being that promising quarterback he was when he first entered the league.
