Once again, the Cleveland Browns entered the NFL season with a lot of hype and expectations. They had Odell Beckham Jr back at full strength plus the addition of Austin Hooper and a full season of Kareem Hunt. Once again, the Browns looked like the good-old browns and the Baltimore Ravens dominated them from start to finish.
The Browns entered the game as 8-point underdogs so most experts thought that Lamar Jackson and the Ravens were going to end up on top of this potential shootout. However, not even the most optimistic Barlimore fan ever saw this 38-6 beating coming.
The reigning MVP and company hit the ground running and led by 18 points at the half. The defense completely shut down Baker Mayfield, Kareem Hunt, Jarvis Landry, and Odell Beckham Jr and the Browns failed to score a single point in the final three quarters of the game.
And, considering the aftermath of the recent rumors that claim that Odell Beckham Jr has the most bizarre fetish in the NFL, the internet was simply ruthless after the former Giants’ receiver massive dud.

However, if there’s something positive about this terrible performance by the Browns is the fact that OBJ did had a team-leading 10 targets. At the end of the day, they’ll only go as far as he can take them so it’s encouraging to see him getting more involved in the offense. Hopefully, he’ll have better numbers to show for it at the end of the season.
