The New York Jets shockingly beat the Los Angeles Rams to win their first game of the season. Ironically, this could be the worst win in NFL history, as they're no longer in control of the first-overall pick of the upcoming draft.

Adam Gase only had one job and it was to do what he does best: Losing. The Jets were by far the worst team in the National Football League and continued to find incredible ways of losing games, some of them even too obvious.

In fact, some people even speculated that the only reason why the Jets hadn't fired Gase and his coaching staff is that they would guarantee them the first-overall pick. Well, I guess they didn't get the memo.

The Rams just needed to beat the Jets at home to clinch a playoff spot and they entered this game as 17.5-point favorites, yet they couldn't get anything going and will now carry the shame of losing to the 2020 New York Jets.

But more than that, the Jacksonville Jaguars now hold the first pick in the upcoming Draft and thus the right to land Trevor Lawrence. So, it seems that even when they win, they're actually losing. Classic Jets.

So, now that the New York Jets have won a meaningless Week 15 game, they've now lost the possibility of landing a generational talent and one of the most talented prospects in NCAAF history.

There's no chance that - should they get the first pick -  the Jacksonville Jaguars will pass on Lawrence, as they're also looking for their quarterback of the future. What we're sure of is that no one's happier than Trevor right now. He's safe from the Jets.
