Aaron Rodgers might be contemplating retirement according to a surprising report from Dianna Russini and Mike Silver. This is happening while the quarterback is considering his options between the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Giants, and the Minnesota Vikings.

“Rodgers has been targeted by the Steelers and Giants but has essentially put both teams on hold while he waits for clarity regarding the Vikings’ situation. If Minnesota ceases to be an option, it’s also possible that Rodgers will turn down both the Steelers and Giants and instead opt for retirement.”

After two disappointing seasons playing for the New York Jets, Rodgers is looking for one last opportunity to fight for a Super Bowl. It would be the perfect farewell to his legendary career.

Is Aaron Rodgers retiring from football?

Aaron Rodgers has not officially announced whether he will retire from the NFL, and the reality is that, right now, there are conflicting reports about his potential decision.

Although Russini and Silver claim that retirement is a real possibility, a few days ago, Albert Breer pointed out that Rodgers confirmed to the Jets in his exit meeting that he intended to keep playing, which is why he reportedly requested to be released. Only time will clarify things.
