Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs might be considering drafting a wide receiver in the upcoming draft to boost their chances to win another Super Bowl. According to a report by Jeremy Fowler, the team will meet with Isaiah Bond.
âWide receiver Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Browns, Packers, Chiefs, Bills and Titans starting next week, per source. The speedy Texas playmaker, a Georgia native, will also visit the Falcons for a local pro day.â
Despite already having players at the position like Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Hollywood Brown, the Chiefs are looking to give Patrick Mahomes as many weapons as possible for next season.
Who will the Chiefs pick in the draft?
The Chiefs will look for an offensive tackle or a defensive lineman in the first round of the draft. However, as usual, anything can happen depending on which players are available when the 31st pick comes up.
Isaiah Bond became a trending topic on social media a few weeks ago when he said he would surpass Xavier Worthyâs 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine. Although he didnât achieve it, the young player still made a great impression on scouts.

At the moment, Bond is projected to be selected late in the first round or possibly early in the second round. Although wide receiver is not an urgent need for the Chiefs, his speed could have a huge impact on Andy Reidâs offense.
