Andy Reid confirmed that Travis Kelce has experienced significant weight loss with the Kansas City Chiefs. With one month to go before training camp begins, the tight end appears ready to fight for another Super Bowl.

ā€œYou can tell he has worked out. He normally comes in pretty good shape. So, it’s not like he hasn’t been. You don’t survive as long as he has, playing at the level he has, if you’re not in good shape. His weight, he’s one of those guys that he could fluctuate with his weight. He’s played very successfully at a higher weight and successfully at a lower weight. So, right now, he’s a little bit lower than he was last year.ā€

For several weeks now, Kelce has publicly stated that he was partly responsible for the loss in the last Super Bowl against the Eagles, as he failed to be a key contributor for Patrick Mahomes and his teammates. Because of that, the veteran has a chip on his shoulder.
