Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers have officially wrapped up their preseason games without giving playing time to offensive stars like Aaron Rodgers or DK Metcalf. However, one of their most important prospects, Derrick Harmon, did see action in the last matchup against the Panthers, raising alarms about a possible serious injury.

Harmon was carted off the field, and at the end of the game, the initial medical diagnosis confirmed an MCL sprain. However, the team admitted that the full extent of the injury would only be known once they returned to Pittsburgh.

The defense will be the key unit if the Steelers hope to compete for the Super Bowl. That’s why Derrick Harmon would bolster an already formidable line alongside names like T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith, and Cam Heyward.
