Aaron Rodgers has impressed both players and the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers with his work ethic. Now, someone else has joined the list of figures praising the quarterback. This is what team owner Art Rooney II said during the broadcast of the preseason game against the Buccaneers.

ā€œAaron’s come in and he’s been everything you could ask for in terms of working with his teammates, working with younger guys, and working with the offense. So, I like what l’ve seen so far from Aaron. For sure.ā€

Now, the most important step is for Rodgers to make the Steelers Super Bowl contenders. It won’t be easy in a very crowded AFC with teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills, and the Baltimore Ravens.

Aaron Rodgers Keeps Impressing the Steelers

After all the unfounded criticism Aaron Rodgers received, the quarterback is proving his worth. Not only has Art Rooney II spoken highly of the veteran, but throughout training camp, Mike Tomlin, Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Jalen Ramsey have all publicly said that the former Super Bowl champion is meeting expectations both on and off the field.

Rooney had already hinted at this a few weeks ago in another interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, when training camp began. ā€œThe thing that’s been impressive, for me at least, is just all the off-the-field kind of stuff. I mean, just his attitude. He’s welcoming. He wants to be part of the team, and the teammates love him. It’s been great. We’re looking forward to getting started with him for sure. He’s really enjoying all of this and taking it all in. Every day seems to be a new day where he’s finding something new and fun to deal with here in Latrobe.ā€
