The Baltimore Ravens will once again look to be serious contenders next season in the NFL, but this time, the ultimate goal will be to reach the Super Bowl. To achieve this, the front office successfully managed to retain a key piece of the team’s offense, an ideal partner for Lamar Jackson.

Patrick Ricard, the historic fullback for John Harbaugh’s team, will remain with the franchise for one more year. This is definitely great news not only for Jackson but for the offense as a whole.

The news was announced by Senior NFL Insider for The Athletic, Diana Russini, who shared the agreement between the former Maine player and the Ravens via her official X (formerly Twitter) account.

What’s next for the Ravens?

The main goal remains the same: to have an excellent season and, why not, dream of reaching the Super Bowl. The fact that both Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are staying on the roster is a relief for HC Harbaugh.

From now on, it will be a matter of waiting to see which option turns out to be the solution in the upcoming draft, and whether there’s still a chance to add a big name during this offseason.
