NFL rumors: Von Miller says Broncos can land Aaron Rodgers

Denver Broncos star Von Miller says that there's a possibility that his team makes a push to get Aaron Rodgers out of Green Bay, as he's no longer interested in playing for the Packers.

It’s not a secret that Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. And as such, it’s normal to see that he could have plenty of suitors if the Green Bay Packers were to trade him.

Rodgers’ frustration with the organization has only grown stronger over the past couple of years and some believe that he’s just not willing to play a single snap for them again, even if they decide to play hardball.

And with the Denver Broncos reportedly looming around and keeping tabs on his situation, star pass rusher Von Miller says that he’s confident in the front office on their ability to get a deal done.

NFL Rumors: Von Miller Is Confident The Broncos Can Get Aaron Rodgers

ā€œWhat have I heard?ā€Miller told 9News, as quoted by ProFootballTalk.ā€œFirst and foremost, I’m comfortable with Drew. I’m comfortable with Teddy. G.P. (General Manager George Paton) and (president of football operations) John Elway. If A-Rod is out there for us to get him, those are the two guys to have on the job.ā€

ā€œJohn Elway, he’s done a great job of working the big-time guys before — Peyton (Manning) and DeMarcus (Ware) and Aqib (Talib) — all these other guys. So if there’s a guy to be had, G.P. and John Elway are the two to put on it, if it can be done. If it can’t, I’m comfortable with Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater. They’ve impressed the hell out of me and impressed the hell out of everybody during OTAs. So I’m super excited for those guys. Another year for Drew Lock, I think this will be the time for him to turn it on. So either way we go, it’s looking bright for us,ā€Miller added.

The Broncos boast one of the best defenses in the league but their offense has been pedestrian at best. Drew Lock hasn’t stepped up as expected and Teddy Bridgewater is unlikely to be any better at this point in his career.

The Packers are reportedly willing to start Jordan Love and see how this situation with Rodgers plays out. But if he forces their hand to deal him away, we should definitely keep an eye at Mile High.
