In the most shocking news, we've heard in a couple of weeks, theHouston Texans decided to release JJ Watt. The veteran and one of the greatest defensemen in NFL history is still interested in playing, but it just doesn't seem like he was on the same page with the team anymore. If anything, he had been quite outspoken on the franchise's issues and the team's lackluster performances throughout the whole season, going as far as to say that they had wasted a year of Deshaun Watson's career.

Watt's departure may be just the first domino to fall in a major overhaul coming for the Texans franchise. Deshaun Watson has no interest whatsoever in playing a single snap for them again and now they've just released one of the best players in franchise history.

But given that Watt still has the desire to play and plenty of teams could use his veteran leadership and defensive dominance, let's break down the three most likely - and logical - destinations for him.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Well, there's always some temptation to join the best team in the league, and right now, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the best team in the NFL. The reigning Super Bowl champions could lose Shaquil Barrett and Lavonte David in the offseason and they don't have much cap space, so Watt could take a pay cut to try and help Tom Brady win his 8th ring.

2. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are a historically great franchise and they've been just a couple of pieces away from going back to the Super Bowl. Their defense was solid all year long but even good things can get even better. Oh, and we forgot to mention that JJ Watt isn't just a Wisconsin native but also a University of Wisconsin alumni.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers

And last but not least, we have to talk about perhaps the most obvious destination for him. With the Pittsburgh Steelers - who also happen to have an elite defense - Watt would be joining both of his brothers, TJ Watt and Derek Watt. The Steelers need to address their offense but that defense is going to be dominant for years to come, especially if they land JJ.
