Once again, theeyes of the world were set at Gillette Stadium. As it happened almost every week for nearly 2 decades, everybody was talking about Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots. This time, however, they were going to meet as rivals.
Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveled to Foxboro following a tough loss to the Los Angeles Rams. And even though they claimed that they just wanted to bounce back and get the win, we all know it wasn’t just another game.
For starters, Brady was due to break Drew Brees’ record for most passing yards. On top of that, it would be the first time that he played at his former home since leaving the team to sign with the Buccaneers.
Tom Brady Beats The Patriots: Funniest Memes And Reactions
The Bucs entered the game favored by a touchdown but they could never find any kind of offensive rhythm. Besides the pouring rain and tough winds, Belichick clearly knew a thing or two about how to make his star pupil uncomfortable.
Patriots and Buccaneers went back-and-forth and the game went down to the wire. The Pats even had a chance to win it, but Nick Folk’s 56-yard field goal attempt bounced off the post to give Brady yet another epic win at Foxboro.
Needless to say, the internet had plenty of things to say about this game. Either bashing Brady or Belichick, trolls flooded social media with hilarious memes and reactions. Here, we gathered some of the funniest ones.

Even if it’s been a year and he’s already won a Super Bowl, it’ll always be weird to see Brady donning a different jersey. He’ll go down as the greatest player in Patriots history but, competitive as he is and given his history with Belichick, you could tell he wasn’t going to spare them just because of their past.
Tom 1-0 Bill.
