āI mean [Rantanen] ended up there, I ended up here, and you know, nothing against him,ā Necas stated postgame. āItās been great. Our locker room has been live and loud, so itās good, so nice to get this kind of feeling before the playoffs.ā
Makar opens up about taking on Rantanen with Stars
āObviously, itās weird,ā Makar stated, per DNVR Avalanche on X. āPlayed against him in the 4 Nations, so you see him on the other side, but definitely not in a divisional team like this. Iām happy for him, heās gonna be settled in a place for quite a long time, and heās gonna have really a lot of success, in my opinion, there. Heās done so much for this team and this organization. Itās always great to see Mikko, itās unfortunate weāll be seeing a lot more of him now (with the Stars),ā
