The Anaheim Ducks inflicted a tough 6-2 defeat on the Boston Bruins in the NHL, deepening the crisis for the Boston team. Leo Carlsson shone with two goals, while Jackson LaCombe and Alex Killorn contributed two points each. The win, which marks the Ducks’ second in three games, contrasts sharply with the Bruins’ seven-game losing streak—their worst stretch since 2010.

David Pastrnak, despite scoring a goal, expressed the team’s frustration and the urgent need to reconnect and build something positive in the remaining nine games of the season. The loss exposed the Bruins’ defensive weaknesses and their inability to maintain cohesion on the ice.

ā€œIt’s a frustrating time right now,ā€œ Bruins coach Joe Sacco said, according to NHL.com. ā€œWhen you get down a few goals like we do, you start to try to play catch-up hockey and you open yourself up for more mistakes, and that’s the problem right now.ā€

Visibly frustrated, David Pastrnak added: ā€œA lot of disconnection, and every goal started in the O-zone,ā€ he said. ā€œLost the puck or unforced mistake, and then we are defending.ā€ Pastrnak emphasized the need for the team to reconnect and find a way to build something positive in the remaining games.

In the third period, Carlsson and Mason McTavish sealed the victory for Anaheim. A late goal by Morgan Geekie cut the deficit for Boston, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
