Luis Suárez will play for Atlético de Madrid as he was not going to be needed by Ronald Koeman at Barcelona. The Colchonero confirmed the signing of the Uruguay international on a free transfer on Wednesday, September 23. Meanwhile, the Barsa manager is focused on the transfer window and has three possible candidates to replace the Uruguayan striker.

Barcelona already have Antoine Griezmann and Martin Braithwaite in the squad, but Koeman is looking for a new striker. Suárez, meanwhile, left the club after playing six season at the Camp Nou and winning 13 titles, including a UEFA Champions League and a FIFA Club World Cup.

The transfer window closes on October 5, so Barcelona will have time until then to sign a new striker. Here are the players who are in Koeman's radar to replace Suárez as Barca's striker.

Lautaro Martínez - Inter Milan

The young Inter Milan striker has been in Barcelona's radar for quite some time now. Koeman also sees the 23-year-old Lautaro Martínez with good eyes to be the Suárez's replacement. However, it won't be easy, as Martínez has a release clause of €111M.

Myron Boadu - AZ Alkmaar

It's just a rumor, but Myron Boadu is another young striker who could be in Barcelona's plans. The 19-year-old forward made his senior international debut with the Netherlands national team with Koeman as coach.

Memphis Depay - Lyon

Depay could be Koeman first choice to replace Luis Suárez at Barcelona. The Dutch forward comes from a great season at Lyon and was also coached by Koeman in the national team. The 26-year-old Depay has also been linked with a move to Bundesliga's Borussia Dortmund and Premier League's Arsenal.
