“When Messi indeed started training again after that hectic week, I only saw good things. His attitude: there was and there is nothing to complain about. The good thing is, when Messi sees a ball, he’s having fun,” Koeman told AD.nl.
“When we do a pass and kick exercise during training, Schreuder does the instructions in half Spanish, half English. Sometimes I clarify a bit in Spanish, but with Messi, that’s not necessary at all. He immediately sees it. His football intelligence is maximum.”
