The biggest derby in world soccer, El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid has been played in countless venues. Here, check out all the stadiums where the Spanish derby has been played.

El Clasico is that game all soccer fans areeagerly waiting for every season. This weekend, Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet for the first time in the 2021-22 La Liga and it will be broadcast in the US by ESPN+.

The lifelong rivals have usually met either at Los Cules’ ground, Camp Nou, like on Sunday, or at Santiago Bernabeu, home of Los Blancos. But the truth is that they have also faced each other in many other places.

For instance, the first ever meeting between Blaugrana and Blancos took place in a venue that would soundawkward nowadays. Here, take a look at all the stadiums thathosted the Spanish derby.

All stadiums that hosted a Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid

The normal thing would be that Barcelona and Real Madrid meet at one of their own stadiums. But before they built the massive arenas where they’ve been playing for a long time, they had to meet in atypical grounds.

The first game between them took place in a hippodrome. Later, they went on to visit other territories. And they also metat neutral grounds when it came to Copa del Rey or other kinds of tournaments. These are all the stadiums where the Clasico has been played:

On Sunday, however, they’ll meet once again at Barcelona’s home. The game to be played between Barca and Real Madrid at Camp Nou this weekend will be broadcast in the US by ESPN+.
