On Friday, Jamaica defeated Guadeloupe 2-1 in a tight match to get their second win in the competition. Before, they beat Suriname 2-0 in their first game. Against Guadeloupe, the Reggae Boyz conceded an own goal but were able to come back thanks to goals from Cory Burke and Junior Flemmings.
Meanwhile, Suriname put Costa Rica in trouble but the Ticos brought out their experience to win 2-1 and get through the knockout stages. Now, Costa Rica will try to get their second win against Jamaica in the Gold Cup.
