Barcelona have set their sights on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. As per theformer Netherlands international and Ajax player, Sjaak Swart, Salah could soon be on the move to the Blaugrana.
“I know Koeman wants him – and I know Salah would like to go,” he toldvoetbalzone.nl. Swart failed to reveal where he got the information before adding, “I am not going into any more details, but just believe me that I know.”
Mohamed Salah has beenenjoying the start of the new Premier League season after scoring a hat-trick in the opening match vsLeeds. It’s highly doubtful that Jurgen Klopp will give up on the Egyptian easily.
The 28-year-old wingerhas a contract with the Reds until summer 2023 and arelease clause of around$180m. He had also been linked to making a switch to Real Madrid in the past but a move never materialized.
The ‘Egypt King’ netted 23 goals in 48 total appearances for Liverpool last season. In addition, he helped his side lift the Premier League title for the first time in 30 years.
