Mexico keep preparing for their Gold Cup 2021 debut. This time, they will come up against Nigeria for another international friendly before they begin their quest for a back-to-back continental title.

Gerardo Martino's boys are expected to have a good performance in the upcoming edition of Concacaf's greatest tournament. They will probably face stiff competition on the way, though.

Nigeria head to this friendly looking to continue their preparation for the beginning of the road to Qatar 2022. They have tied with Cameroon in a goalless affair, and they have their sights set on their World Cup Qualifiers debut in September.
