The current leaders of the Premier League, Manchester City, convincingly beat their arch-rival Manchester United, in what was a new edition of the Derby of the city of the same name. Manchester City had almost no opposition in their rival. It was known that they were favourites, but the difference was much greater than could be foreseen. The “Citizens” opened the scoring early with a goal from Kevin De Bryune (the man of the match) at 5 minutes, however, at 22 minutes Sancho would mark the partial 1-1 for the “Red Devils”.

From there it was almost everything for City, who just 6 minutes later again with a goal from De Bruyne made it 2-1. The second half was almost a monologue for City against an impotent United. As if that were not enough, Riyad Mahrez at 68 and then at 90 put the final 4-1 for a forgettable game by the “Devils”.
