The United States are the new champion of the Gold Cup 2021 after beating the Mexico in the final with a late goal from Miles Robinson in the 117th minute of extra time. It was a tight match between the two Concacaf powers from the beginning with many chances for both teams, but eventually the USMNT found the way to win it. 

Both teams had many chances to score the first goal of the match. For the United States, Gyasi Zardes and Paul Arriola were the most dynamic players on attack. Meanwhile, Orbelin Pineda also had clear opportunities to send the ball into the net but he missed.
