Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo isnāt slowing down. The Portuguese star appeared in the first half of the Saudi Pro League match against Al Raed to give his team the lead. Itās his 15th goal in the domestic competition this season, and his 21st with his club in all tournaments.
Ronaldo scored at the 35th minute mark, after his teammate Marcelo Brozovic took a free-kick, leaving him alone in the goal. With just a smooth touch, the Portuguese sent the ball to the back of the net.
The goal also represents his 921st goal in his career, extending his record as the all-time top goalscorer in professional soccer. This season, Ronaldo has also scored 4 goals in the AFC Champions League and two in the Saudi Super Cup. He has also provided three assists.
On the other hand, his 15 goals in the Saudi Pro League put him at the top of the leagueās goalscorers, with two more units than his former Real Madrid teammate, Karim Benzema, who is playing for Al-Ittihad.
In his last four matches, Al Nassr has won two, tied one and lost one. Stefano Pioliās men are third in the table, behind leaders Al Ittihad and Al Hilal. The team has failed to win the league in the last two seasons with Ronaldo, who doesnāt want to leave Arabia without a trophy.
