Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas will fight for the WBA welterweight title, after Errol Spence Jr. had to withdraw from the event due to eye injury (a torn retina in his left eye). However, organizers found their substitute in the Cuban Olympic champion.

Ugas, 35, had another fight scheduled but also found himself without an opponent after Fabian Madiana had to drop out due to an injury. So, it was only natural for both fighters to meet in Las Vegas for the pay-per-view event.

Manny Pacquiao, 42, has been out of the sport of boxing for two years, but he still got what it takes to dominate in the ring. On the other hand, Ugas has shown his happiness for what he called the “biggest and most important night” of his career.
