Rafael Nadal is returning to competition today, August 4 at the ATP 500 Citi Open, where he’s facing American Jack Sock in the second round. The Spaniard will play at the event for the first time in his prolific career. Here, check out everything there’s to know about this tennis match such as the preview, information, head-to-head,predictions, odds and how to watch it in the US.

After taking time apart from tour, missing Wimbledon and the Olympic Games, Nadal is starting his preparation for the US Open, which starts on August, 30. The 20-time Grand Slam champion usually doesn’t return to tour this early for the last part of the season. But without playing a tournament in nearly two months, he certainly needs to catch up if wants to have a triumph in New York.

His first opponent will be Jack Sock, who reached the second round after the withdrawal of Yoshito Nishioka when he was up 7-6 (3), 0-4. Now, the American, ranked 192, will have a bigger test against Nadal. The last few years have been rough for Sock, but he is increasing his form and he’s trying to come back to the elite.
