Park Skateboarding will make its debut at the Tokyo 2002 Olympic Games on August 4 and British Sky Brown will be competing. This teenager, who was born in Miyazaki, Japan, has awed the world, including Tony Hawk, with her skills and she’s ready to win a medal.

Brown is coming to the Games after picking up gold at the X Games earlier in July. But she’s not only good at skateboarding, as she also surfs, dances and sings. She actually won the junior edition ofDancing with the Stars, when she was 10 years old.

Despite her talent, she almost didn’t compete at the Tokyo 2020 Games because she had a fall in May last year and suffered a fractured skull, broken left wrist and hand. Due to the severity of the accident, her parents were reluctant to let her compete. However, she insisted and now she will try to make history in Tokyo. Sky Brown was born on July 7, 2008. She is thirteen years and 23 days old and Great Britain’s youngest ever Olympian. When she debuts at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, she will surpass swimmer Margery Hinton, who was 13 years and 44 days, when she competed in Amsterdam 1928.
