The Grand Slamās all-time leader faced little trouble in the third round against the Austrian, defeating him 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. Djokovic now faces Cameron Norrie in the round of 16.
By reaching the fourth round of Roland Garros, Djokovic achieved his 99th match win at the major, matching his best record at a single Grand Slam tournamentāa feat he has also accomplished at the Australian Open.
Additionally, the victory ensured that Djokovic has reached the round of 16 in at least two Grand Slam menās singles events across 20 seasons, equaling the record previously set by Roger Federer.
Djokovic on reaching 100 wins
The Serbian will face Norrie in the round of 16, aiming for his 100th Grand Slam win. He expressed feeling privileged to be making history in the sport. āNinety-nine is good, but 100 is better. I hope Iāll get more,ā Djokovic said after the match.

Djokovic on playing night sessions
The match against Misolic marked Djokovicās first night session of the season. He noted that playing late isnāt easy due to the anticipation and anxiety of waiting to compete.
āIt was the first night session this year for me. Night sessions are different. Waiting all day to play isnāt easy because thereās anticipation, youāre very tense, you have to prepare for the match,ā he explained. āLast year I played a few night sessions ā one incredible one against Lorenzo Musetti that finished at 3 a.m. Tonight I was just hoping it wouldnāt finish after 3 a.m.!ā
