“If a contract, something like that happens further up, then that happens. But right now we going to focus on just trying to be legendary. Be great and bring championships back to Dallas because that’s what the most important thing is.”

While Dallas will soon have to take care of Parson’s contract situation, the team got a big weight off its shoulder by securing Prescott for the long term, which also makes the linebacker feel relieved.



“We’re happy it gets done because now, it puts a lot of talk to the side,” Parsons said. “We’re like, ‘Man, we got our quarterback now.’ We can really just focus, like Dak said, on winning games. … So having our guys, CeeDee Lamb and Dak done, it means the world to us.”

<h2>CeeDee Lamb’s contract restructuring</h2>



As ESPN reported, the Dallas Cowboys and CeeDee Lamb have finalized a historic four-year, $136 million contract, positioning him as the second highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. The deal features a $38 million signing bonus, the largest ever given to a wide receiver.



This agreement came after several weeks of negotiations between Lamb and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who was reluctant to compromise on various issues. However, the deal was finalized just as the season was about to begin.

On the very first Sunday of the 2024 season, the Cowboys ended a months-long saga with their quarterback by handing <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/dak-prescott">Prescott</a> a four-year, $240 million deal to make him the highest-paid player in NFL history.



This situation gave plenty to talk about withint the football community, as every new contract makes Mahomes’ deal look even more outdated. “Not necessarily,” Mahomes told USA Today in July when asked whether he feels underpaid. “I think we do a great job of managing my money, to be able to pay me a lot of money and keep a good team around me. I know we’ve kind of restructured it a couple of times and got the cash flow up in certain spots and certain years. It’s about having a good dialogue, good communication with the front office, with ownership. We’ve done that here. And as we’ve been able to allow me to be a highly-paid guy while at the same time build a great team around me.”
