After missing three consecutive games due to a left groin injury, the Indiana Fever shared some good news: star guard Caitlin Clark does not have a new injury. However, they also acknowledged that there is currently no timeline for her return.
Ahead of the Fever’s matchup with the Las Vegas Aces (which Indiana won 80–70) head coach Stephanie White expressed relief about Clark’s health update. “It’s definitely a relief to know there’s nothing else going on and no more damage,” White told the press, according to a video posted on the Fever’s YouTube account. “It’s just being patient with the process.”
When asked what Clark has been able to do over the past week since the injury, White added: “I mean, we haven’t really practiced since the couple days before the All-Star break. So mostly rehab, shooting, and she’s been working with our athletic training team. We’ve been preparing everybody else.”
As the Fever continue to navigate this stretch without their biggest star, both Indiana and WNBA fans remain hopeful that Clark will return this season. Without her, the team is currently 5–6 in the WNBA regular season.
