Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark continues to be one of the most talked-about names in basketball, whether for her record-breaking performances, viral moments, or the attention she draws from fellow athletes. This time, the headlines are about her offseason transformation as she prepares for her sophomore WNBA season.

A recent photo of Clark sparked widespread attention on social media, with fans noting her noticeably stronger frame. During the broadcast of the NCAA women’s championship game, Clark spoke with WNBA legends Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi and addressed the buzz around her physique.

It was the camera angle. AI is getting out of control, come on,” Clark joked. But she also acknowledged the work behind the scenes. I’m trying to get stronger, spending a lot of time in the weight room. It’s something I kind of enjoy, so it’s pretty easy for me to spend time in there and really work on that part of my game.”

Clark added that beyond building strength, she has been focused on developing a floater and improving her ability to finish through contact, both key elements of her game.

Fever head coach Stephanie White has also taken note of Clark’s offseason progress. “She is stronger, first and foremost. She figured out right away, ‘I need to get stronger,’” White said during a February podcast appearance. “She’s done a great job of getting in the weight room and focusing on her strength, in terms of low center of gravity, time under tension, all of those things.”
