For years, fans speculated about Paige Bueckers’ relationship with fellow UConn Husky Azzi Fudd. While they claimed to be close friends, online detectives suspected there was more to it than what met the eye.
Now, as they seemingly became official, fans are dying to know the ins and outs of their relationship, especially with Bueckers taking the WNBA by storm with the Dallas Wings.
With that in mind, the former national champion opened up on Fudd’s major role in her basketball career. Apparently, she’s in charge of making sure she looks good on the court.

“I love a pretty shoe,” Bueckers said. “I put a collection of Books together and actually let Azzi choose my shoe.”
Bueckers wears Devin Booker’s signature shoe, the Book 1. However, she’s a sneaker free agent, so she could technically get her own signature deal pretty soon.
And judging by the way she’s dominating for the ever-struggling Wings, multiple players, including Fudd, won’t hesitate to also don her sneakers once that happens.
