Kevin Durant is ready to start his second season (first as an active player) with the Brooklyn Nets, trying to take the team to the promised land alongside Kyrie Irving. KD has a lot to prove this season and he’s focused on getting the job done.

The 2x NBA champion wants to add more titles to his personal record and he’s confident the players they have right now and the coaching staff is enough to have a deep playoffs run and try to take down the Los Angeles Lakers, the current NBA champions.

The Nets have been linked with a move for James Harden for quite some time now. That seems to have reached a dead point, but people still want to know what is going on in Brooklyn and what the team plans to do with the Beard.

Kevin Durant reveals his true feelings about a potential James Harden trade

As the biggest star of the team, Durant was asked what he thinks about James Harden, his former teammate on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Recent reports suggested Durant was the one trying to convince Harden to request a trade to the Nets since they want to reunite in New York this season.

Well, KD made it clear that he’s not thinking about that ‘at all’ and he’s only focused on his team and seeing what they can do with the players they currently have.

“I don’t think about James Harden at all. He doesn’t play on our team,” he told Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News.

Well, he’s right, Harden isn’t part of the Nets and with recent developments, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to be shipped to Brooklyn just yet. Harden is reportedly interested in joining the Philadelphia 76ers or other contenders, but the Rockets’ asking price for the Beard is too high for some franchises.

Durant, on the other side, already has a sidekick in Kyrie Irving. They’re both expected to lead this franchise to the promised land but only time will tell if their personalities and past controversies won’t create any rift between them.
