We’re all set. The moment everybody was waiting for is finally here:Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggetsmade it to the Western Conference Finals and we’re just one step ahead of the 2020 NBA Finals.

Everybody thought the Los Angeles Clippers were going to easily get past the rest of the West to face LeBron James and Anthony Davis at this stage but Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray thought otherwise.

Now, it’s more clear than ever that Jokic is one of the best – if not the best – big men in the world. That’s why basketball fans all over the world are raving about his stellar matchup in the paint vs. Davis, which may be the key to capping their historically great playoff run.

Anthony Davis Reacts To Stellar Matchup Vs. Nikola Jokic

And, when asked about that tough matchup vs. the Serbian superstar, Anthony Davis had nothing but praise for Jokic, raving about his versatility as a scorer, shooter, and even playmaker:

“He’s a tough guy to guard. (He’s) able to shoot the ball, he can pass extremely well. He can go in the post. There are a lot of ways he can beat you,” the power forwardtold Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.

It’s clear that Jokic is paving the way and setting the standard for the modern big. For better or worse. He may not be a good defender but he can stretch the floor as a point-five and do things no other center has ever done in the NBA.

Then again, he’s going to have his most difficult task thus far in the playoffs when he faces off against Davis. He already got past a defensive standout like Rudy Gobert but AnthonyDavis will also give him a handful as a scorer and wear him out as much as he can.
