LeBron James is considered the frontrunner for the 2021 NBA MVP award by a lot of people but not everybody is sold on that idea since other players are having very good seasons in the association, making a case for the coveted award.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is having a great season in his 18th campaign in the league, at age 36, demonstrating he’s not normal and is ready to keep showing his dominance over the competition with the purple and gold.

However, there is one analyst that doesn’t see LeBron as a lock to win the 2021 MVP award, picking another player who is having a great season on his own, making the headlines every time he steps foot on the NBA court.

Skip Bayless picks Joel Embiid as MVP over LeBron James

Skip Bayless, one of the most famous LeBron James’ hater, made the case for the Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid as the 2021 MVP award winner, taking shots at the King in the process, as usual.

“I’ll take Joel Embiid over LeBron for MVP. When he plays, he’s on another planet. Joel is having a better year than LeBron,” Bayless said during a recent edition of FS1’s Undisputed.

“I always tell you, I love mad LeBron I wish for the Lakers’ sake, they could put somebody in the front row, every game to make him mad because once he gets mad, he gets hot,” Bayless stated.

That is a questionable statement knowing how easy is for Bayless to attack LeBron but he’s somehow “rooting” for the player this year. LBJ is having a great season with the Lakers, making his team the second-best squad in the West and still the favorites to win the NBA championship this year.
