It’s not a secret that the Brooklyn Nets are the most overpowered team in theNBA. If healthy, there’s no reason to think that they could take every single team in the league in a seven-game series and win the NBA Championship.
They’re coming off winning 48 games in a 72-game season despite not having their Big 3 all on the floor for most of the year. Also, Steve Nash was making his debut as a coach and was pretty much learning along the way.
That’s why oddsmakers believe that now that Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden are all healthy, the Nets are going to be the most dominant team throughout the whole regular season.

“Well, the oddsmakers continue to install the Nets as the best team in the near future under those ideal circumstances. Already the consensus favorites to win the 2021-22 NBA title, the Nets were given the highest projected win total for over/under bets by Caesars Sportsbook on Friday, when the league announced its full schedule.
The Nets were given the highest projected win total for over/under bets by Caesars Sportsbook on Friday, when the league announced its full schedule. The Nets’ total is 54.5 wins, ahead of the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks with 53.5 and a group of teams at 51.5 that includes the LeBron James and Russell Westbrook-led Los Angeles Lakers and last year’s no. 1 playoff seed in each conference (Utah Jazz and Philadelphia Sixers).”
This isn’t a surprise at all. The Nets have the best starting five in the league and it’s not even close. They also have some nice assets to round up their roster, even if they’re still lacking a bit of a defensive identity. Barring injury, there’s no stopping these guys.
