In just a matter of days, Shedeur Sanders will learn his fate in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the talented quarterback may have unintentionally revealed his next destination by hinting at the team that is set to pick him.

Everyone recognizes Shedeur Sanders’ immense talent. He is projected to be a first-round selection, but as the draft approaches, predicting his landing spot has become increasingly difficult.

That may have changed, though, as Sanders appears to have dropped a major hint about his future. The former Colorado Buffaloes star may have accidentally leaked which team is preparing to select him.

Shedeur Sanders may have revealed the favorite to draft him

In just a few days, hundreds of college prospects will find out if they will officially become NFL players. While not all of them will be immediate impact stars, some—like Sanders—have high expectations surrounding their potential.

For many scouts, Sanders is viewed as a player with the tools to achieve greatness. He is currently projected as a top-five pick, but based on recent events, he may already have a strong idea of where he’s headed.

A video that surfaced on social media shows Sanders speaking with people close to him. When asked about joining an NFC East team, he casually responds, “You know, it is what it is.” One person in the conversation then jokes, “Anywhere but the NFC East—I can’t wear a Giants jersey,” causing Sanders to laugh.

While the New York Giants have signed both Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson this offseason, the idea of drafting a quarterback is reportedly still on the table. The two veteran signal-callers are seen as short-term solutions, while a first-round pick like Sanders could be the franchise’s long-term answer at the position.
