Josh Allen has undoubtedly been one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL in recent years — even earning MVP consideration last season. The good news for him heading into the 2025 season is that he’ll be working with some new faces on the Buffalo Bills‘ offense. And the feeling appears to be mutual, as several of those newcomers have already expressed excitement about teaming up with the star QB.
One of the latest additions to Sean McDermott’s squad is former Jets and Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore, who arrived in Orchard Park this offseason. The talented wideout previously faced off against Allen in past seasons, but now, to his benefit, he’ll be on the receiving end of passes from his new teammate.
As the first moves begin to take shape across NFL franchises, the Bills were no exception, and it was Moore who, in a conversation with the media, revealed his thoughts on the first interactions with the former Wyoming Cowboys player.
“When I wasn’t in, I was just watching him, because obviously I’m on the other side of it now. I’ve been playing against him for going into four years now, and it just looked better now that he’s on my side,” said Moore.
The standout receiver also added: “The balls were pretty. The way that he practices, he jokes around, but at the same time, he’s locked in.“
Moore expresses excitement about joining the Bills
After his most recent stint with the Browns, Elijah Moore joined the Bills in hopes of boosting an offense that has been among the league’s most dangerous in recent years. The talented receiver not only expressed excitement about the football side of things, but also shared that he’s felt welcomed and supported since arriving in Buffalo.
Through his official X account (formerly Twitter), the wide receiver shared a heartfelt message, expressing how happy he is to have taken this important step in his athletic career.
“Buffalo already has been nothing but GREAT TO ME already,” he wrote via @e_moore03. “This place really takes care of they people.”
